The terrorist group whom are responsible for the horrific Bali bombings are known as Jemaah Islamiyah. They are an Islamic group who portray themselves as high-minded warriors acting according to the demands of their faith. In relation to the Bali bombings these terrorists believe they have not done anything barbaric which is prohibited from God.

One of the main terrorists involved in the Bali Bombings is Abu Bakor Bashir who is the leader of the Indonesian Mujahedeen council and is renown for his outspokenness against Indonesian Government. Abu is known to be the spiritual leader of Jemaah Islamiyah organization and is said to be a deep philosopher who inspires fatal actions. Abu received a short sentence due to the lack of evidence presented. A terrorist by the name Ali Imron publicly admitted his role in the Bali Bombing attacks and demonstrated exactly how they were carried out. He also claimed these attacks were carried out in the name of God.
